Using Body Art to make an impact.

Bodypainting for Chelsea Flower Show, Quilted Velvet Garden 2008 by Emma Cammack As well as creating stunning photographic images Emma's work is also sought after for events. Body Art is a versatile tool to make an impact at event, on exhibition stands, at parties, fashion shows or PR Launch's. The sky really is the limit for this unsusual form of art.

Bodypainting can be used in a variety of ways to accentuate your message, to attract media attention or to create an unusual talking point for your guests which is especially tailored to your product, theme or requirements.

Emma's work has been used at a vartiey of events and PR launches to great effect. Here are a few examples of how body art could work for your event:

  • Combining Body Art with Celebrity. Painting a "name" or a gorgeous model in a bespoke design incorporating your logo, artwork or theme for your product launch or event.
  • Dancers or Models painted in the theme of your event as part of a performance or tableau. E.g Jungle, Robotic, Moulin Rougue, Bollywood etc.
  • Human Statues painted and placed on plinths / podiums in situ for your event for example gold or stone statues holding/wearing your product, or statues painted in your event's theme to get your guests talking as your event unfolds.
  • Bodypainted podium dancers in cages or on podioms, themed to suit your requirements and guarranteed to get any party started.
  • "Live" bodypainting at your event or on your exhibition stand. People are fascinated to watch body art take shape. Emma's work will captivate them, giving you an opportunity to get your message across to them. This almost guarantees press attention at exhibitions and events. It also results in good viral marketing as your clients have their photos taken with your bodypainted model and pass them on to freinds via networking sites, email, MMS messaging etc.
  • Serving staff or promo girls painted and serving drinks, product samples or promo material to clients. This also works well for charity fundraisers with models painted and selling the raffle tickets or collecting donations who could help but be a little more generous!
  • Models/statues painted to vanish into the background as an art installation to be "discovered" by your guests. Causing a frisson of excitement and interest and a memorable talking point for any event.
  • Models / staff painted with logos, themed designs on a smaller scale are also possible. Themed tattoos on arms, back or shoulders, bespoke designs on faces, hands etc. Specialist tattoo inks can be used to last several days if required. So you could brand your staff for your exhibition stand with your own besoke tattoo incorporating your logo and have it last the whole event! With enough notice we can also design and produce your own easy to use temporary tattoos for use on your stand on your clients. You don't need to be naked to use body art to make an impact!
  • Live tableau of statues bodypainted in your theme, or to vanish into backgrounds. Either to frame your product, models your logo or simply be an original tailor made art installation and talking point. This works well for faux window dispays and for tableaux at events and banquets.
  • Models painted in cocktail dresses modelling jewellery or products in an exclusive fashion show or mingling with your guests.
  • Models partially clothed with the rest painted to cause a double take from the audience either for a runway show or mingling with your guests.
  • Themed runway shows tailored to your event's theme, with logos if required, models carrying / wearing or showcasing your product.
  • Gallery exhibits/Art installations. Emma also produces body art canvases and prints for exhibitions and private sale. It is possible to create your own body art images for an exhibiton, calendar or collection. Bespoke images can be created for your own event exhibiton, stand, point of sale or promotional material supplemented by live bodypainted models in tableaux of selected images.
Using Body Art to your best advantage at Events

Bodypainted Geisha for FABAIC Convention by Emma Cammack From an individual adorned with body art to a whole group painted as an art installation your body art could be as elaborate as you wish. Emma's vast expereince will ensure that your body art experience runs smoothly and seamlessly. As a professional Body Artist Emma and her team will ensure that as well as making your models look beautiful the praticalities of the event are taken care of too. Emma can advise you on the practicalities of using bodypainted models and how to get the most of investing in a body art extravaganza.

Depending on your requirements, number of models and time restrictions Emma may work alone or head up a team of elite bodypainters to bring your dream to life. Please bear in mind that quality body art takes time to create so if the painting is not done live as a feature of your event then a "dressing room" or painting area of some kind will need to be made available.

Emma is able to provide introductions to models, dancers, acrobats, promo staff experienced in working with body art should you need help with casting your event.

Emma will create a bespoke design tailored to your requirements. We can either hand paint your logo or have stencils created of your exact logo to ensure protection of corporate identity. Colour themes can be employed as part of the design process to suggest your corporate colours or a thematic taken from your company logo, advertising or art work.

Models do not need to be naked or even topless for body art to make an impact. Often for events models are wearing at a mimimum a thong, nipple covers or prosthetic pieces are also available should you prefer and on occasion bikinis, partial clothing or even stuck on accessories or partial dresses. We can tailor the body art to your requirements and your venue or clients sensibilities.
